What Happens After the Exam
Results: Your result is displayed immediately on screen after you complete the exam. You need 28 out of 40 correct answers (70%) to pass, and there is no negative marking.
If you pass: Your result is recorded in the HKSI system. Depending on which regulated activities you wish to carry out, you may also need to pass Paper 1 (Fundamentals of Securities and Futures Regulation).
If you don't pass: You can re-register and retake the exam. There is no limit on the number of attempts, but you will need to pay the examination fee again.
