Welcome to examprep.hk (the "Platform"), operated by PICOPICO TECH PTE. LTD. (UEN: 202529124N), a Singapore incorporated private limited company trading as Plainset ("we," "us," or "our").

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO") of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that is necessary to provide you with a high-quality exam preparation experience:

• Account Information: Email address and password, or your name and email if you sign up via third-party providers like Google.
• Payment Information: Handled securely via Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
• Usage Data: We automatically collect data on your interactions with the platform, including exams taken, answers provided, and scores. This data is critical for our AI Recommendation Engine to identify your weak spots.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Platform Maintenance: To manage your account and grant access to mock papers.
• AI Personalization: To analyze your performance and suggest personalized quizzes to improve your pass rate.
• Progress Tracking: To allow you to monitor your performance over time across different topics.
• Communication: To send transactional emails (e.g., payment receipts) and support responses.

3. Direct Marketing

We may use your name and email address to send you updates about new mock papers, platform features, or promotional offers. We will only do so if we have received your express consent. You may opt-out of these communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" or emailing us.

4. Data Sharing & International Transfer

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with essential service providers:

• Supabase：Our backend infrastructure and authentication provider.
• Stripe：Our secure payment processor.
• Google：For users choosing to log in via Google.

Note on International Transfer: Your data may be transferred to and stored in servers located outside of Hong Kong (including Singapore and other AWS regions). By using the Platform, you consent to this cross-border transfer. We ensure all partners provide a level of protection equivalent to the requirements of the PDPO.

5. Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade security via Supabase to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights Under the PDPO

Under Hong Kong law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to check whether we hold your personal data and to access that data.
• The right to require us to correct any inaccurate data.
• The right to withdraw consent for direct marketing.
